iMessage.
Send iMessages based on customer activities on your website or app.
When something happens, send an iMessage.
When something happens — a signup, a booking, a checkout, a tag, or a reply — an iMessage goes out from your number. You pick the event; Cherrie sends the text.

How it works
Everything happens in the few minutes after someone takes action on your site.

Maya starts checkout at Sauss.
The Cherrie Pixel sends InitiateCheckout with her phone, email and the $36 cart — the same way any site or product sends an event with one line of cherrie.track(). Nothing has texted anyone yet.

Ninety seconds pass. No Purchase. The rule fires.
Your checkout rule listens for InitiateCheckout, waits the delay you set, and skips anyone already tagged purchased. It fires once per customer — Maya can start checkout five times and hear from you once.

Maya gets a blue bubble from your number.
The template renders with her first name and your brand, and goes out as an iMessage from your dedicated line. If she were on Android, the same text would arrive as an SMS from the same number.

She replies. An agent or human takes over.
Replies land in Messages and in your Cherrie workspace. An agent can answer in your voice — read receipt, typing, then the text — or a human on your team can take over the thread. Whether it’s a trial, a booking, or an order, the conversation closes the loop.

Triggers from your pixel, your CRM, or the thread itself.
Four kinds of When. Pixel events are the same ones you already send Cherrie for ads — standard names or your own. Inbound rules match a keyword on iMessage & SMS or email. Tags and new customers round it out, and every rule can skip people by tag.
Cherrie Pixel
Any event your site or app sends — signups, checkouts, bookings, purchases, or a custom name.
Inbound message
A text that contains a keyword (or any text at all), on iMessage & SMS or email.
Tag added
A customer gains a tag — vip, lapsed, enterprise — from a rule, the agent, or you.
Customer created
A new person lands in your CRM from the pixel, an integration, or the Customers API.

A real blue bubble, from a number that’s yours.
Texts go out from a dedicated iMessage line for your business — not a shared short code. When they’re on iPhone it’s an iMessage with tapbacks, read receipts and attachments; when they’re not, the same text arrives as SMS from the same number.

Replies land in one inbox — and the agent can answer.
Every automated text opens a thread in Messages. Your agent replies in your voice, paced like a person: read receipt, typing, then the answer. Hand any thread to a teammate, or have Notify me ping a Slack webhook or a staff phone the moment someone writes back.

“iMessage feels human and personal — reply rates are 7x SMS, and with unlimited messages it costs less than per-message SMS fees.”
Compared to SMS marketing tools.
Same channel on the surface. A different idea of who to text, and why.
Set up in an afternoon.
Install the pixel, get your number, and write a rule. The events you already send Cherrie are the same events that can start a conversation.
- Unlimited messages — cheaper than per-message SMS fees
- More human and personal — 7x the reply rate of SMS
- A dedicated iMessage number that is yours (SMS fallback built in)
- One script tag on any site or product — plus native Shopify
The fine print, in plain words.
Everything a team usually asks before texting a customer.
What counts as a trigger?
Any Cherrie Pixel event — InitiateCheckout, TrialStarted, DemoBooked, Purchase, or any custom name you track — plus a customer being created, a tag being added, and inbound texts that contain a keyword (or any text at all).
How do I connect it?
Drop one script tag and cherrie.track() onto any website or product, or install the Cherrie App Pixel on Shopify to map events automatically.
What if the customer isn’t on iPhone?
The same message goes out as SMS, from the same number, and the thread lives in the same inbox. You write one rule, not two.
Will anyone get the same text twice?
No. Each rule fires once per customer, and you can skip anyone who already carries a tag — purchased, active, vip, unsubscribed — so a nudge never lands on someone it shouldn’t.
Who answers when they reply?
You, from Messages in Cherrie — or the agent, in your brand’s voice, with a read receipt and typing like a person would. Notify me can also ping a Slack webhook or a staff phone on every reply.
How fast does it send?
Immediately, or after a delay you set up to 90 seconds — while the customer is still deciding, not the next morning.
What does it cost?
A dedicated iMessage number is $250 a month with unlimited messages — no per-message or per-segment fees, so it’s cheaper than traditional SMS tools.
Start texting from your own number.
Connect your pixel, write your first rule, or try the live demo right now.
